Small business website design packages

A website package is a fixed scope at a fixed price: you know what you get and what it costs before you commit. The alternative is a custom quote, where the scope is negotiated and the price follows. Packages suit most small businesses. This page explains what a package should contain, what the tiers usually mean, and what ours includes.
Why buy a package instead of a custom quote
A custom quote makes sense when nobody yet knows what the site has to do. For a brochure website, everybody knows: pages that explain the business, work on a phone, can be found in search, and let someone get in touch. That is a known job, and a known job can be priced.
The practical benefit is that the risk of overrun moves to the supplier. With an hourly rate, extra hours are your problem. With a fixed package, they are not.
What the usual tiers mean
Most suppliers offer three. The labels differ; the substance rarely does.
- Starter: three to five pages, a template, your own text. Around $500 to $1,500. Suitable if you need an address on the internet more than a sales tool.
- Business: ten to thirty pages, a design made for you, on-page search optimisation, a blog and a contact form. Around $2,000 to $8,000. This is what most small businesses actually need.
- Custom: bespoke functionality, integrations, online shop. $8,000 and up, and genuinely so, because it is engineering rather than assembly.
What to check before you buy any package
- Is the page count a limit or a target? Thirty pages included is not the same as up to thirty pages if you need them.
- Who writes the content? The most common gap between a package price and a finished website.
- Are revisions included, and how many? Unlimited revisions usually means the scope is loose enough to argue about.
- Is hosting bundled or separate? Bundled hosting is convenient and makes leaving harder. Separate is cleaner.
- What is the exit? You should be able to take the site and go, with the files and every access credential.
Our package, in full

- Mobile and tablet layouts, tested.
- On-page search optimisation: titles, structure, speed, indexing.
- Blog and FAQ, ready to publish.
- Contact form, WhatsApp button, map and opening details.
- Customer reviews section and a gallery of your work.
- Privacy and legal pages.
- A second language included.
- You approve the site before it goes live, and you own it afterwards.
Two optional subscriptions, separate from the build and cancellable at any time: hosting with a domain name at €12.90 a month, and maintenance at €29.90 a month covering bug fixes, content changes, one blog article a month, SSL, backups and monitoring.
What the package does not cover
Being explicit is more useful than being generous. The package does not include an online shop, customer accounts or logins, booking and payment systems, or integrations with your own software. Those are real engineering work and start around $8,000 anywhere. If that is what you need, we will say so rather than sell you the package.
Frequently asked questions
What is included in a small business website design package?
A business tier package normally covers ten to thirty pages, a design made for you rather than a template, mobile layouts, on-page search optimisation, a blog and a contact form. Ours also includes an FAQ, a reviews section, a gallery, legal pages and a second language.
How much do website design packages cost?
A starter package runs about $500 to $1,500, a business package $2,000 to $8,000, and custom work $8,000 and up. Ours is a single package at 299 euros, paid once.
Is a fixed price package better than a custom quote?
For a brochure website, usually yes: the job is known, so it can be priced, and the risk of overrun sits with the supplier rather than with you. A custom quote makes sense when nobody yet knows what the site has to do.
Does the package include hosting?
No, hosting is separate and optional at 12.90 euros a month with the domain name included. Keeping it separate means you can leave without losing the site.
